Stopwatch mode
Counts up from 0:00. Useful when you want to track how long you've been presenting without a hard time limit. Click the play button in the footer to start.
The stopwatch keeps running as long as the app is open. You can pause and resume at any time, or reset it back to zero.
Countdown mode
Counts down from a preset duration. Click the duration label next to the timer to pick a preset: 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
The timer turns orange below 5 minutes and red below 1 minute, giving you a clear visual cue that time is running out.
Timer controls
The play/pause button starts and pauses the timer. The reset button clears the timer back to zero (or back to the full countdown duration).
The timer persists across card navigation — switching cards doesn't reset it. You can flip through your entire deck without interrupting the clock.
Color indicators
The timer changes color as time runs out in countdown mode:
- Normal (5+ minutes remaining) — muted gray
- Warning (under 5 minutes) — orange
- Critical (under 1 minute) — red
- Expired (time's up) — red text on red background
